The Blaze 86 builds on what the other models are known for: lightness, versatility and agility. Because there is no Titanal, the ski is a bit more sprightly and also a bit lighter. The Blaze 86 is designed for quick, tight turns, although the sidecut’s three different radii also master demanding terrain, speed and long, drawn-out curves. Suspension tips and tails give the ski composure, increase flotation and protect the ski off-piste. The Blaze 86 is a great ski touring option for backcountry ladies who are happy to accept 100 g of extra weight in exchange for a much improved skiing experience. Built around a light, high-performance, full tip-to-tail wood core, it can handle ascents and makes descending a pleasure (except if the snow is too deep). A highly versatile technological setup which gives the Blaze 86 an intuitive feel and an unusual level of creativity.

Multilayer Woodcore Light 1: The Multilayer Woodcore Light consists of hard wood in the center area around the screws and very light, slotted wood in the outer zone. In the alpine range the models benefit from the weight reduction and allow very sporty turns and speeds.

Suspension Tips & Tails: Inserts made of elastic TPU material on the edges of the tip and tail which act like a bumper in wind-blown or tracked snow. Its shock-absorbing elasticity ensures better stability and catch-free float.

Full Sidewall / Mini Cap: Full sidewall construction with mini cap overlapping to provide best durability.

3D Radius Sidecut: Three radii in one ski for maximum turning & speed versatility in all mountain skiing.

Tip & Tail Rocker: Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle

P-Tex 2100 Base: A sintered high-density and high molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability.

vMotion 11 Bindings: The vMotion 11 gives skiers a lightweight, high performing binding with incredible versatility. The Triple Pivot Compact toe has a horizontal spring providing low swing weight and more available comfort with GripWalk boot sole compatibility.

Shoppers: Motion 11 GW Bindings come in factory box. The Base/Track system is mounted by the manufacture so only assembly (no drilling) is needed to complete the installation of this model binding onto these skis.
