Völkl is upgrading the Racetiger SC model with new technologies and geometry for the 2023/24 winter season, including Tailored Carbon Tips and a Titanal Band for improved performance and stability. The new geometry features a wider tip width for better turn initiation and a narrower waist width for more agile, dynamic skiing. This makes the optimized race models ideal for experienced skiers who value a dynamic, agile and sporty driving style, but who also don't miss out on enjoyment on the slopes. The Racetiger SC with tip rocker is built for super-fast and agile turns while still providing lots of riding comfort. This impressive combination is made possible by the integration of the UVO 3D, 3D.Glass, Powered by Steel and sidecuts with carefully aligned flex and tip geometries. The UVO significantly dampens the vibration of the ski. The 3D.Glass construction features fibreglass layers that run three dimensionally over the ski instead of the usual horizontal-only webbing. This allows more pop as well as a sharp edge change and reliable edge grip.
The GripWalk-compatible vMotion 3 binding reliably transfers the full power from the boot to the ski.
Tailored Carbon Tips: The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are light, allow an agile shovel reaction with less effort and quickly build up energy.
Full Sensor Woodcore: The full sensor construction (Beech/Poplar) features hardwood in the binding area but - contrary to the speedwall wood core - under the screws and in the outer areas a lighter wood. This results in a very sporty and agile skiing characteristics.
3D.Glass: 3D.GLASS improves overall ski performance and stability even in critical snow conditions. Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip & tail area or in the binding area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.
Tip Rocker: Only bends upwards in the shovel area, while the middle and tail of the ski feature a camber shape.
Full Sidewall / Mini Cap: Full sidewall construction with mini cap overlapping to provide best durability.
